Volunteer

Whether you are a performer, prefer to be behind the scenes, or would like to help with administration, volunteers are always welcome at the Holly.

Front of House Volunteers

The important thing to remember is that you do NOT need any previous experience. One of the joys of community theater is introducing new people to the art and helping them to learn the skills they need to perform the job they choose. Because of our large pool of volunteers, we can be very flexible with the schedule. You can learn as much as you want and you can choose the times you are available to help out.

Sell tickets at the ticket counter out front of the theater, greet patrons, handle ‘Will Call’ customers. Requires knowledge of the ticketing software (contact the office to schedule training).

Sell foods and drink at the concession counter in the lobby.  Due to sales of beer and wine, persons under 21 years of age are not permitted to work concessions.

Greet patrons and assist them to their seating as necessary, and hand out show programs. Duties include crowd control in case of emergency, helping persons with special needs or disabilities, and post-show cleanup. Must be at least the age of 18 and able to perform all duties.

Holly Theater Company Volunteers
