Senior performance camp

Has your student been itching to learn about what it means to put on a musical production?

During this camp, they will spend two weeks learning blocking, choreography, and music, followed by two weekends of performances for the general public. These shows will be complete with lights, sound, costumes, set pieces, and props. We welcome veterans and theatrical newcomers alike, so please don’t let skill level deter from auditioning!

Ages: Middle School and older (your student must be going into 6th-12th grade for the 2025-2026 school year)

Auditions: May 24 from 10 am-1 pm

All students will be in camp once payment is received; these auditions are preliminary and will take place before the camp to determine which parts each student will play once camp starts. If callbacks are needed, they will be the same day (May 24) from 1:30-3 pm. Auditions will take place at the Holly Annex: 61 Enota St, Dahlonega, GA 30533.

You must attend auditions for this camp so that the show can be cast and scripts given out before the camp starts. If you are unable to attend these auditions, you may send in a video audition. Please contact the director vicpeck25@gmail.com to arrange this.

Release of Liability

If my child is injured or becomes ill during a rehearsal or a class, I understand that the staff will make every effort to contact me using my supplied contact information.  However, if I cannot be reached within a reasonable amount of time, I give my permission to the Holly Theater Company; its employees, agents, assigns, or contractors to secure needed medical treatment for my child.  I agree to assume financial responsibility for the cost of such treatment.

I understand that there are hazards and risks, as well as benefits, associated with my child’s participation in educational, recreational, and/or performance activities in Holly Theater classes and productions; including but not limited to the risk of theft, damage to personal property, and/or personal injury. I, on behalf of myself, my child, my or their heirs, executors, administrators, agents, assigns, and other personal representatives, irrevocably and unconditionally remise, release, settle, compromise, and forever discharge any and all manner of suits, actions, causes of action, damages and claims, that I or my child, have or may have against The Holly Theater or Lumpkin County and/or its trustees, officers, employees, agents, assigns, or contractors.

Occasionally, The Holly Theater staff members wish to photograph, videotape, or otherwise record activities of theater students for publicity uses.  I give permission for my child to be videotaped, photographed, or otherwise have his or her image and voice recorded, in connection with the program.  I give permission for The Holly Theater to use said videotape, photograph, or recorded materials in print and online via email, Facebook, newspaper, or other media outlet.
